about the firehouse
Firehouse 4 Venue was originally Firehouse 5 of Lynchburg, Virginia built in 1905. At first, teams of horses pulled fire fighting apparatus until they were replaced by more modern equipment.
The station was decommissioned in 1995 and was purchased to serve as a home for its owners. Years later, college students rented spaces offered by a new owner. In 2018, Tim and Shannon Woodland decided they had to have it not only as their home, but as an event venue - to share this amazing place with as many people as possible!
